Identification of fungi associated with stored crude plant drugs at gulbarga market

Abstract
Sicteen fungi belonging to 7 genera were isolated from 31 stored crude plant drugs. Of which, 14 fungi were isolated from root samples, 9 from seeds samples and 3 from a tuber. Among the fungi isolated, apergillus niger and A.flavus were commonly found commonly on all the drug smaples studied.
